Responsibilities for Production Technician:
- Read assembly prints and determine parts to be used for builds.
- Use measuring tools such as, but not limited to, digital protector, tape measure, and digital calipers
- Vehicle disassembly: fluid extraction, LV battery removal, hoist operation, engine removal, cab removal, axle removal
- Assembly work: using hand tools, socket wrenches, torque wrenches, screw drivers Document critical elements of the vehicle assembly such as serial numbers, torque specs, assembly revision levels.
- Shop organization and assembly line modifications, keeping work area clean and organized, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications for Production Technician:
- 2-3 years' experience in assembly or manufacturing
- Previous experience working in a specialty vehicle manufacturer, EV experience a plus.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement is a plus
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to get along with others.
- Good attendance
- Previous experience in a start-up environment is a plus
