Responsibilities for Electrical Technician/Wire Harness Technician
- Conduct incoming inspection and testing of electrical harnesses and other electrical devices to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Utilize testing equipment such as multimeters, High-pot testers, Computers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Verify wiring, connectors, and components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform rework on harnesses, including wire terminations, connector pinning, and soldering.
- Identify and document defects or non-conformities, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
- Self-motivated about the harness quality responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate testing records, documentation, and reports.
- Precise attention to detail and importance of a sense of urgency
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications for Electrical Technician/Wire Harness Technician
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with electrical harnesses
- Previous experience working in a specialty vehicle manufacturer, EV experience a plus.
- Experience lean manufacturing and process improvement a plus
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to get along with others
- Good attendance
- Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus
