Responsibilities for Electrical Technician/Wire Harness Technician

  • Conduct incoming inspection and testing of electrical harnesses and other electrical devices to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize testing equipment such as multimeters, High-pot testers, Computers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Verify wiring, connectors, and components against engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform rework on harnesses, including wire terminations, connector pinning, and soldering.
  • Identify and document defects or non-conformities, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
  • Self-motivated about the harness quality responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate testing records, documentation, and reports.
  • Precise attention to detail and importance of a sense of urgency
  • Keeping the work area clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications for Electrical Technician/Wire Harness Technician

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience with electrical harnesses
  • Previous experience working in a specialty vehicle manufacturer, EV experience a plus.
  • Experience lean manufacturing and process improvement a plus
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to get along with others
  • Good attendance
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus
