Position Description:

National Attendance Program (NAP)Coordinator/HR Office Admin Ensure that the National Attendance Program (NAP) Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA) and tardiness are administered in accordance with the National Agreement, Company Policy, applicable regulations, Company practice and Local Contractual Agreement to include the following; Conduct corrective action discussions as required for chargeable absences, failure to follow notification process and tardiness Properly document corrective action hearing outcomes Follow-up with line management customers to successfully close out open NAP and tardiness issues Audit NAP and tardiness TWOs coding Correct TWOS codes as required SME for line management customers on NAP interpretation Maintain all required documentation related to FMLA administration Liaison between line management customers and the local medical department SPOC for employees requesting FMLA and confirmation send outs SPOC for UNICARE Will be responsible for running attendance reports to include but not limited to, AWOL report, ART report and Late report Includes cleaning up employees' attendance and disciplines

  • Identify opportunities to streamline the current process
  • A selected candidate for this position would have to be available to work morning, night, and weekend shifts depending on the assigned crew/shift.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Assist in 5-day quitting process
  • Conduct attendance hearings
  • Administrative Tasks Filing Reception

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative role, preferably with direct experience in attendance management, payroll, or HR information systems.

Experience Required:

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with employees and leadership effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in record-keeping and data entry, particularly with sensitive information like attendance and time records.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to address and resolve employee attendance or HR-related concerns efficiently.
  • Experience with attendance systems and HR software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Kronos) is highly preferred.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or administrative support is a plus.
