Seeking a recent graduate with 1 to 2 years of hands-on lab experience in welding, preferably in joining, along with testing scanning an optical microscopes
Requirements
- Laser welding experience.
- Welding of Internal Weld Coupons for Tab Welding
- Restrictive spot weld experience
- Experience in Cross-section of samples after welding
- Material Characterization of Welds
- Resistance testing
- Resistivity measurement
- Tensile strength measurement
- Ability to coordinate projects and test data with other internal departments and outside suppliers.
- Experience with Testing, Scanning and Optical Microscopes is a plus
- Data base experience is a plus.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree required. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Material science will be plus, but not required.
