Position Description:

We're looking for talented procurement professionals who want to help lead this project. We need leaders who are entrepreneurial and bring a mix of creativity, and technical and business skills to create solutions that partners and customers cannot resist. This IT Supply Chain Software Project Manager will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Support the development of Category Strategies which are robust enough to meet the company's evolving business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive on-time sourcing of key software in initiatives within cost and regulatory requirements.
  • Align company's Software sourcing strategies with other business demand to maximize leverage.
  • Lead source for key software needs
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships within the various internal business units and departments to further align strategic category vision and savings opportunities.
  • Drive and support Supply Base optimization and strategic priorities through leverage of Enterprise spending.
  • Lead and manage various key initiatives among the IT Supply Chain Software team.
  • Be a progressive thinker, seeking out ways to drive efficiencies, find cost savings, or spend reduction opportunities, with intelligence of what is best in class.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communicator that can effectively transition from bottom-up details to concise, clear executive-level messaging.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust across organizations to drive decisions and alignment.
  • Strong data & analytics understanding for synthesis of complex data into clear, understandable format.

  • Ability to creatively solve problems, adjust priorities, and manage workload with agility in the team, to deliver business critical objectives.
  • Prefer Strong understanding of Information Technology offerings and across Indirect categories
  • Strong process competency and knowledge across complex sourcing processes (Power Apps, Ariba SLP, S2C, and P2P)

Experience Required:

  • 5 years of supply chain/commodity/program management experience
  • 8 years of supply chain/program/commodity management experience in the Automotive industry

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study
  • Prefer Master's degree preferred, not mandatory (or in progress)
